PROGRAM CONTENTS

• Introduction and importance of professional procurement and contract management.
• Complete procurement process, including developing purchasing strategy, developing specifications and criteria, sourcing and supplier selection, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Understanding of the PPRA Rules (Federal & Provincial) and an overview of the EPADS system.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, including definition, formation, essential elements, clauses, and types of contracts.
• Complete contract management process, including contract management plan, contract team formation, payment plans, contract administration, closure, and post-contract review.
• Dispute resolution mechanisms, including litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution board.
• Supplier/contractor performance management system.
• Contract risk management.

PROGRAM DURATION/DAYS

The program is of four-month duration. Classes will be on Saturday (4:00 pm to 9:00 pm).

TRAINING INVESTMENT

TRAINER CREDENTIALS

Dr. Adeel Zeerak is the director for this program. Dr. Zeerak is a seasoned supply chain professional, trainer, consultant and a dynamic professional who brings with him more than 13 years of corporate world experience. Currently he is associated with Pakistan Institute of Management and performing the tasks of a trainer, consultant as well as registrar for the Institute. Throughout his professional career he has worked at various positions requiring extensive interaction with supply chain professionals. He has the amazing talent of bringing comfort and credibility to the training room which he acquired from his extensive training and work experience.

Dr. Zeerak holds a Ph.D. in Leadership from Europe, an MBA in Marketing & Finance from IBA and BE in Mechanical from NED University. He is also a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS USA and acquired Green Productivity consulting training from Malaysia. His areas of expertise include Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Contract Management, and Production Management.
He is a leadership scholar, martial artist, and the author of four international books published in USA. His way of teaching having a practical approach is liked by all his students.
