INTRODUCTION
Pumps are the workhorse of the process industry and one of the most abundantly used machines in most industrial sectors and applications, whether it be chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer plants, refinery, water treatment or power generation, etc.
Monitoring a pump’s performance and efficiency is a direct measure of a process plant performance and also a priority for energy conservation. A poorly selected pump or one that does not run at its optimum point are not only wasting energy but also affects life of the seals, bearings, wear rings. Therefore, to maintain assets’ integrity, and also to have a record of its efficiency, pumps’ performance monitoring becomes a regular requirement.
OBJECTIVES
We at FFC with our three operating plants are involved with a large variety of types and capacities of industrial pumps. Considering our experience of ~40 years in operating plants with record efficiencies, we have designed the training course to share our knowledge with our colleagues from local industry. This 2-day course is designed for low to mid-level experienced process and production engineers.
PROGRAM CONTENTS
The training course covers the characteristics of various industrial pumps and their performance monitoring methods. The course focuses mainly on centrifugal pumps which are most commonly used in industry but also covers other types.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
- Lending executives and officers
- Relationship Manager
- Auditors
- Internal control officials
METHODOLOGY
Prepared directly by process industry engineers, this training incorporates a hands-on approach, with interactive lectures / group discussions more of a forum of technical executives; an environment quite different from typical training institutes.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The workshop is two-day program (9:00 pm to 4:00 pm).
LEARNING INVESTMENT
Rs 21,000/- learning investment includes; certificate, hands-on training, participant training kit, refreshment, lunch, and business networking.
ABOUT SPEAKER
Mr. Tehseen Ullah Khan holds a vast practical experience of 20 years as a Process Engineer in the industry.
