The Administration of the Emergency Department is the most important long term and daily function without which the Clinical Staff cannot work. The ability to support the smooth working of Clinicians, who may increasingly be working over a telemedicine link requires years of experience and expertise, which only ER Administrators can provide. ER Administrators triage patients for all levels of emergencies and ensure crowding does not occur in aisles, halls and waiting areas. Long term demand of supplies and meeting daily supplies and staff surges is an integral function of ER Administrators.
